I-tec Core

The strength of wood is unrivalled. That is why we have developed a new technology for window construction from this reliable and natural material — to design windows for you that offer even more stability, resistance and individuality. Using the new I-tec Core technology, we form thin, bonded layers of wood in the core of the window, a construction more typical of highly robust roof beams and joists. This wood is considerably more resilient and resistant to moisture, as well as being exceptionally solid. The new high-tech material is sustainable from the outset and enables larger dimensioning thanks to its outstanding load-bearing capacity.

  • A highly robust window and unrivalled solidity thanks to unique Internorm I-tec Core technology
  • Thanks to its high load-bearing capacity, I-tec Core opens up new standards in wood construction
  • With a higher load-bearing capacity than three-layer bonded spruce, withstands heavy loads where slim cross-sections are required
  • Greater protection against moisture: Thanks to the multi-layer construction and impregnation, the wood is protected against moisture and remains dimensionally stable
  • Improved aesthetics thanks to slim frame design: The I-tec Core performs all of the window's static functions
  • Compatible with standard fittings: Fittings are fixed within the core and protected against tannic acid
  • Sustainable: Optimum use of wood as a material
  • Unlimited selection of wood: Many different types of wood available — whatever the strength
  • Ecological material — PEFC seal of approval: Wood from sustainably-managed forests
